Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar & Local Sightseeing

Your memorable family tour begins with arrival in Srinagar, the heart of Kashmir. After check-in at the hotel or houseboat, relax and soak in the beautiful surroundings. Later, enjoy local sightseeing, including the famous Mughal Gardens—Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi. In the evening, enjoy a peaceful Shikara ride on Dal Lake, offering stunning views of the sunset and floating gardens. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 2: Srinagar to Sonamarg (Approx. 80 km / 3 hrs)

After breakfast, proceed to Sonamarg, also known as the “Meadow of Gold.” This scenic drive takes you through lush valleys, rivers, and snow-capped peaks. Upon arrival, enjoy leisure time with your family, take short walks, or opt for a pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier (at your own cost). The serene environment makes it a perfect family-friendly destination. Overnight stay in Sonamarg.

Day 3: Sonamarg to Leh via Zoji La Pass (Approx. 200 km / 6–7 hrs)

Today, you travel towards Leh via the adventurous Zoji La Pass, one of the most thrilling mountain passes in India. En route, witness breathtaking landscapes, Drass (the second coldest inhabited place in the world), and war memorial views. After crossing Kargil, continue the journey towards Leh. On arrival, check into the hotel and rest to acclimatize to the high altitude. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 4: Leh – Acclimatization & Local Market Visit

This day is kept for proper acclimatization, especially important for families. After a relaxed morning, visit Leh Market, Leh Palace, and Shanti Stupa in the evening. The Shanti Stupa offers a panoramic view of Leh town and surrounding mountains, making it a perfect spot for family photos. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 5: Leh to Sham Valley Tour (Approx. 70 km / 4 hrs)

After breakfast, explore the Sham Valley region. Visit famous attractions like Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Indus–Zanskar Sangam, and Alchi Monastery, known for its ancient artwork. This day offers a mix of culture, spirituality, and natural wonders, ideal for all age groups. Return to Leh by evening. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 6: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (Approx. 125 km / 5–6 hrs)

Drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world. Enjoy spectacular mountain views along the way. Upon arrival in Nubra Valley, visit Diskit Monastery and see the giant Maitreya Buddha statue. Later, enjoy a camel ride on the dunes of Hunder, a unique experience for families. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

Day 7: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake (Approx. 160 km / 6–7 hrs)

After breakfast, proceed towards the stunning Pangong Lake via the Shyok route. This journey offers raw Himalayan beauty with rivers, rocky mountains, and remote villages. On arrival, spend quality family time by the crystal-blue lake, famous for changing colors throughout the day. Overnight stay near Pangong Lake.

Day 8: Pangong Lake to Leh (Approx. 140 km / 5 hrs)

Wake up early to enjoy the magical sunrise at Pangong Lake. After breakfast, drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass. En route, admire scenic landscapes and stop for photos. Upon reaching Leh, rest and enjoy leisure time. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 9: Leh to Tso Moriri Lake (Approx. 220 km / 7–8 hrs)

Today, travel to the breathtaking Tso Moriri Lake, located in the Changthang region. En route, pass through picturesque high-altitude villages and open plains. Tso Moriri is a peaceful and less crowded lake, perfect for families seeking serenity and natural beauty. Overnight stay near Tso Moriri.

Day 10: Tso Moriri to Leh (Approx. 220 km / 7 hrs)

After breakfast, begin the return journey to Leh. Enjoy scenic views throughout the drive and make short stops for photography. Upon arrival in Leh, spend your final evening shopping for souvenirs like handicrafts, pashmina shawls, and local artifacts. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 11: Departure from Leh

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to the departure from Leh Airport. Your 11-day family tour concludes with unforgettable memories of Kashmir and Ladakh’s majestic landscapes.
